Personally Identifiable Information
Personally identifiable information can only be collected when you voluntarily provide it. Perceptive collects personally identifiable information about you during the request for user names and passwords for access to our product demonstrations and when you request additional information from us via our contact form. Currently, required information is limited to name, company, and e-mail address. In addition to the username/password request process, Perceptive may ask you for personal information at other times during the course of your use of the Perceptive web site.

Perceptive will not sell, rent, or make your personally identifiable information available to a third party for a fee without your consent. Perceptive may make personally identifiable information available to another company as described below:

Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Perceptive may also collect non-personally identifiable information, such as preferences, zip code, and country of residence, during the registration process and throughout your use of the Perceptive Site. This type of information, while it may provide a general profile of a user of the service, does not allow Perceptive to identify you personally (e.g., by knowing your zip code or that you live in the U.S., we cannot identify you personally). Perceptive uses this information to get a general idea of who is using the Perceptive service and how they are using it. Perceptive analyze non-personally identifiable information to determine which channels/areas are popular and which are not, to tailor our users' visit to the Perceptive Site and use of the service, and to introduce users to new channels that may interest them. Perceptive also uses this information to generate statistical reports we share with strategic partners, advertisers, and content providers, including channel operators.
