Pemco Aviation Group Selects Perceptive Solutions’ Handheld NRC For KC-135 Overhaul Program

Customized Mobile Maintenance System for Military Aircraft

NORCROSS, Ga., March 20, 2002 /PRNewswire/ - Perceptive Solutions, Inc., a mobile-maintenance software company, today announced that Pemco Aviation Group (PAGI - News) has selected Handheld NRC(TM) for use on the KC-135 overhaul program.

Pemco Aeroplex required a cost-effective, mobile hangar application that would work with existing enterprise systems to reduce the time and paperwork associated with initial inspection. Handheld NRC provides the flexible system they needed.

The Perceptive Handheld NRC, an advanced computing solution using handheld devices and client-server software, lets Inspectors write non-routine tasks electronically using an Intermec 700 Series Mobile Computer running Microsoft Windows for Pocket PC 2002. Using Handheld NRC, an inspector fills out an electronic non-routine card.
