RHS Archive Overview

Introduction

RHS Archive (RedStone Hosted Services) offers backup and long term storage of electronic aircraft visit data. Select to have data archived to an online storage facility or burned to cd rom

RHS Archive Not for Live Data

RHS uses redundant hardware and backs up all live data. RHS Archive is neither necessary nor even applies to active visits. Think of RHS Archive as a virtual records department. RHS Archive is about what happens to electronic data when the paper records leave the hangar floor.

How it works

As visits are marked completed the information becomes historical. You can specify that visit data be stored in the production system for up to one year. After that RedStone Archive can transfer the data to long term electronic storage or burn the data onto cd rom and mail it to you. RHS Archive helps you:

• Keep RedStone operating efficiently
• Restore data if the paper records at your facility are damaged
• Meet FAA or Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for storage of electronic information
